Georgetown Pop Warner Football Camp
Quantum LEAP Sports and Georgetown Pop Warner are partnering to conduct the 2010 Georgetown Pop Warner Youth Football Camp. Participants will be exposed to the LEAP methodology (Learn, Execute, Assess, Practice) as they learn the fundamentals of all position groups. LEAPers will also participate in a mini-Combine where they will be measured in 6 football-related activities: 30 yard Dash, Standing Broad Jump, T-Drill, Box & Ladder Drill, 2-4-6 Side Shuffle, Football Throw.
Over the course of the 4 days, coaches will make collective, objective observations of each participant. This information will be summarized and included in an individualized assessment given to each LEAPer. The assessment includes ratings on 6 areas: Sportsmanship, Execution, Positive Attitude, Focus, Football Knowlege, and Overall Athleticism. It also contains a summary of the LEAPer's strengths and areas for improvement and the results of the Quantum LEAP Mini-Combine. Parents and coaches alike will receive a copy of the assessment as a resource to help the LEAPers future growth and development.
Participants in this event will surely have a distinct competitive advantage on their peers and be well-prepared mentally and physically for the upcoming football season. This camp is open to all players 5-12 years old whether or not they are a member of the Georgetown Pop Warner Organization.
